Industrias Mayo was initiated as a project to cultivate cacao as an alternative to coca, thereby developing sustainability in the Region of San Martin, in the Peruvian Amazon jungle. Given the high quality of cacao, Orquidea Chocolates are created. The first Peruvian chocolate, made with in the very place that is the source of our cacao, with a singularly delicious flavor and aroma.
Our processing plant is located in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon jungle. This strategic position allows us to share all of our success in Orquidea Chocolates, with all of those whose collaborative efforts contribute to our product and this sweet mission.
Some years have passed since our beginnings, and we can proudly say that we have the best chocolate made with the best Amazonian cacao. We connect the pleasure of enjoying chocolate with the stories of happiness that are created in the homes of our farmers and collaborators.
